Quilts and A Porch

Back in March and April, when we were hunkered down in our homes I thought it would be nice to put some color on our porch. Each day I would bring out a quilt or quilt top and a piece of my art to decorate the porch with. I hope it made people smile who drove by.
I purchased this top to finish someday. It is a log cabin design and after I bought it I then realized that it had an American Flag in it! I think I was more taken with the houses and had overlooked that element, as unbelievable as that is. The mixed media painting on the door is titled “We are the Same”.
My Mother made this top and the pattern is from a Quiltmaker magazine.
The painting on the door is titled “Under Our Feet”.
This Carolina Lily nine patch will be finished one day too.
The mixed media painting is titled “Pursue the Passion”.
My Mother put this quilt top together after winning these blocks in quilt club.
The mixed media painting is titled “Teal and Blue”.
I made this little quilt from sampler blocks and certain fabrics that were chosen from quilt club.
The mixed media painting is title “Orange Bouquet”.
This quilt is old and old again. It is double sided and made from shirtings and suits from my husbands side of the family.
The mixed media painting is titled “Live Out Loud”.
All the paintings can be found under flowers in my online store.
